# How to join Lurkit if I make YouTube Shorts or use TikTok?

## Just like Twitch and YouTube, the process is simple and easy!

Anyone can create an account on Lurkit. To join as a creator using YouTube Shorts or TikTok, your connected account must meet the following requirements.

## Account requirements

- **YouTube:** At least **90 days old** with **250 subscribers**.
- **TikTok:** At least **30 days old** with **250 followers**, and a **Business Account**.

## I created a Lurkit account, what now?

With your newly created account, you will be given options for all of the channel types we support from the get-go. Just simply select the platform you wish, and then go through the authorization process.

## What happens after connecting my account?

Connecting an eligible account automatically gives you **Quest Verified status**. You do not need to wait for a manual review. Lurkit uses **Stripe and Tipalti** for creator payouts; complete your payout setup before participating in paid Quests.

**Key Requests require a separate review by our Trust Ops team.** Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee access to Key Requests.
