# What is an Embargo Date?

## The Embargo Date represents the date you can start streaming the game.

When an embargo is set over an activation, you are required to respect the instructions provided by the Publisher or Studio.

This means a specific date will be set, and the creator **should not stream, or share any public content for the game in any way, shape, or form!**

You will be able to check the Embargo Date for a specific game when claiming a key and in the Special Instructions emailed to you when you are accepted for the Campaign.

Always make sure to follow the Embargo Date before creating content!!!
