What is IGDB and what is it for?

IGDB is one of the databases that we pull data from for Lurkit.

IGDB is an online database for Twitch data. Anyone with a Twitch account can contribute by either adding a new entry or editing existing information. Users can edit anything from games to companies, engines to characters. Once a contribution has been made, it will go into a pending change for admins or moderators to review.

Lurkit uses this database to fetch information from Twitch. It is important for your game to be on IGDB so that our systems can work smoothly! 

To add a game, just go to https://www.igdb.com/ go to the Games tab and press  +Add Game.

You'll have to be signed in to add a game, and it can take up to 24 hours for it to be reviewed and accepted.
